Four year-old Natalie Christodulou from Cyprus arrives at a hospital in Israel with severe, involuntary life-threatening convulsions. If these are not controlled quickly, her life will be at risk or she may suffer irreversible brain damage.
After her parents have been waiting anxiously outside the operating room, Lior’s surgery is over. After receiving an update from the surgeon, they go to the ICU where they see her, hooked up to a respirator.
Mendy, who ever since suffering a head injury in a traffic accident has been in an induced coma and on a respirator, begins to show signs of regaining consciousness. Creditors have begun to appear on his father, Yisrael’s doorstep, after hearing that the family stands to receive money from the insurance company
in light of the traffic accident. Dealing with the creditors and with Mendy’s difficult condition are takinga toll on the family’s relationship.
